The Squeah Campership Fund
This fund supports children wishing to participate in one of our summer camp programs, but who are unable to without financial assistance. The fund depends entirely on charitable contributions. All campership donations are tax deductible.
Your donation to the Campership Fund can be mailed in by cheque or you can donate online.
Goods, Services, Time
Donations of goods and contributions by people with various trades continue to play a significant role in the growth of Camp Squeah.
The Squeah Bursary Fund
Each summer, more than 60 young people volunteer their gifts of time and talent to work at Camp Squeah. Their goal is to make the best summer camp experience possible for each one of the campers that come through out the summer. Many of Squeah's summer staff return to college or university after the summer. They come and volunteer because they believe in the unique ministry of Camp Squeah's summer camp program, but many of them need financial help to continue with their studies, which this Bursary Fund provides. Bursary applications are reviewed and awarded by a sub-committee of the Camp Squeah Committee. This fund is replenished annually via the annual Camp Squeah Paddle-a-thon event.
In 2009 Squeah was able to support 26 young people with approximately $47,000 in tuition support. Bursary donations can be made directly to Camp Squeah and are tax deductible.
